The Final Battle

Odysseus yelled out order to both his son and his father. Telemakhos was ready to show his courage to his dad finally to fight side by side in battle. Today was a proud day for Laertes to see both his son and grandson fight in battle, side by side with him self. Athena descended down to give the news to Odysseus of what her father had said of this battle they were about to fight in. Zeus, who bears the storm cloud as a shield tells you to call off this war. It is unnecessary and he will be mad if you go through with this battle. The great tactician thought about this for a moment. “No, I have to go through with this battle. I have been away for to long to let these suitors ruin my life for what they had caused to my land. They will die for what they have done.” With that, Odysseus ran after the enemy, sword in hand and stabbed the enemy through his armor. Zeus quickly saw what was going on and got together with all the other gods. They decided Odysseus wasn’t going down without a fight so they would have to release their secret weapon. The great green dragon, Jauffrey, flew from his nest out to where Telemakhos had just killed the last person. He swooped down and grabbed Laertes and swallowed him in one gulp. Odysseus jumped off the ledge where he has been fighting and landed on the dragons back. The dragon tried to buck him off, but Odysseus had a death grip on him. He grabbed his sword and said something into the dragon’s ear before driving his sword into his leg. They fell down to the ground with a slam. After the dust settled, Jauffrey stood up, with no sight of Odysseus. The gods decided that the battle was over and stopped watching. Odysseus got up and he knew that his plan was already working. When Odysseus had leaned in to whisper something into Jauffrey’s ear, he told the dragon that they should team up to defeat the gods. Odysseus told Jauffrey to fly down to the nearest apple farm and gather 50 apples. Jauffrey was on his way to the apple farm to gather the apples that Odysseus had asked for. Odysseus was making his way to Mount Olympus with Telemakhos to set up a plan for how to defeat the gods. Jauffrey was already on his way back, bag full of apples in hand. They all met up, right outside the holy gates of Olympus. They sneaked inside the gates, into the kitchen where the meals of the gods are prepared and served. Their dinner was already made, a celebration for them thinking they
had killed Odysseus. Odysseus added the apples to the food, the one weakness for the gods. They heard the cook coming and ran out, almost leaving the rest of the apples. Dinner was served and the gods dug in to their meal. Hermes was the first to feel the effect of the apples. He started to get very red in the face and then just dropped down dead. One by one, the gods fell to the ground in defeat. Athena was the last to go. She now understood now why her father said Odysseus should be killed. Odysseus, Telemakhos, and Jauffrey danced in triumph. They celebrated by making themselves a huge feast for them and all the other people of Ithaka. They had 2 full weeks of celebration before finally ending the festivities. Everyone was partied out and nobody wanted to do anything, including running the kingdom of Ithaka. Odysseus should have been more prepared because to his surprise, there were other gods. They brought their army along with them, 5 million strong, prepared for battle. This was going to be a long battle, and Odysseus and Jauffrey were ready for the battle of their lives. These gods were the Titans, and they were stronger then Zeus and the other previous gods put together.
